Sunset cocktails

I've always been a little envious of people who can whip up a batch their famous sangria for a party.  I recently decided it was high time I become one of them and the warm summer evenings this weekend lent the perfect inspiration for experimenting with recipes.

I started with this peachy white wine recipe (as white wine sangria seemed more appealing in the heat), made a few alterations (less sugar, added strawberries, used all frozen fruit to help it chill, and substituted peach seltzer for ginger ale), and let the flavors blend in the fridge for a good 2 hours.  The peach was such a refreshing twist on traditional sangria that my boyfriend instantly gave his stamp of approval on this being a summer staple in our home.

  1. looks so good! Sangria is such a good summer drink and i love how you can get a pitcher and share it so easily :) The sunglasses are Michael Kors-- forgot to list them! They're similar to the Shetland style but i was never able to track down their exact style ;)!
