Crazy Days of Summer

For the most part I've been enjoying the fact that my summer days have been more crazy than lazy this year.  I recently returned from a month and a half of globe trotting (mainly for work, a little for pleasure) and while I can now proudly say that I have perfected the art of packing the multi-occassion carryon (I avoid checking my luggage at all costs), I am looking forward to spending some much needed time at home.  I have thoroughly appreciated my visits to London, Boston, Toronto, New Hampshire, Dallas, and Vermont (of course!) but Montreal is where my heart is at the moment.

Thankfully I'm back for at least a few weeks in a row and am happily steeping myself in everyday tasks and errands with just a touch of kitchen demolition and marathon prep mixed in.

Bedroom balcony: My new favourite spot to start the day

Beautiful flower baskets on Prince Arthur, also seen on my run

Finally! We've chosen our new kitchen materials

Favorite combo of savoury and salty for Sunday brunch at Universel on Peel

Living in blouses and cutoffs in this hot hot weather
