I've been in the process of decorating my condo since January. So far I've finished painting the whole thing (2 floors!), renovating the kitchen (like, total reno - taking out walls, moving plumbing), and decided on a dining table and chairs to fill the empty dining room.
Now comes the fun part of actually decorating! Unfortunately, despite my love of interior design, I've been at a stand still with my office and bedroom. I have been on the hunt for the perfect fresh textiles and patterns to set the mood and inspire the rest of the decor but have been utterly disappointed by the available selection. Everything seems to either look cheap, overdone, or be ridiculously expensive.
In comes Caitlin Wilson. While complaining to my sister about my lack of luck with pattern and my white on grey on more white (on more grey) apartment, she told me about Caitlin Wilson, a young designer who makes beautiful and fun patterned textiles. She has a beautiful aesthetic with designs that are youthful yet timeless and incorporate a fun cheerful color palette at a reasonable rate.
The hardest part now is deciding what I like best!
